Hi, my name is Jean Lawson Saint Hill. I am one of the hospice social workers. I have been a hospice social worker for over 12 years. I am passionate about helping patients and families navigate through the complex issues that arise at the of end of life.
My name is Sergio Moreno and I’ve been in nursing for 6 years. I am extremely passionate about providing the best possible healthcare to people physically, mentally, and spiritually. I provide excellent service to all my clients with dignity, care, compassion, and respect.
My name is Angel Covarrubias and I have 7 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. My love for nursing didn’t really grow until I began working as a hospice nurse five years ago. Providing hospice care to our patients is such a privilege. I am dedicated and committed to providing the best care for our patients and families.
My name is Jessica Hernandez I am the Director of Patient Care Services at Devoted Healthcare. I have been a hospice nurse for 6 years now. My experience extends from bedside nursing, to the office, and administration. My interest and love for hospice care stemmed from my own culture portraying death and dying as a tabu topic, but my patients have assisted me throughout the years, have helped me break those boundaries and fall in love with hospice care. I have learned that death and dying is a beautiful process where we have the opportunity of celebrating the life and achievements of our loved ones. I am a firm believer that guiding hospice patients and their families through the process is the most intimate form of nursing care that exists. Having the opportunity to form part of this process alongside our patients to who we provide care doesn’t only grant us the opportunity to ensure a dignified and comfortable end of life, but grants us the honor of leaving our own little mark and making a difference in so many lives. I truly feel blessed and am grateful for each and every patient and family I have ever encountered, thank you for the experience and your trust.
My name is Carmela San Miguel. I am the Quality Assurance and QAPI assistant at Devoted Healthcare. My experience includes Quality Assurance, intake coordinator, and office management. I have been in related fields for about 9 years for home health, hospice care, and skilled nursing convalescent homes. My lovely fiancé who is a hospice registered nurse taught me everything about hospice and she made me fall in love with it. Now, I really enjoy my job position as a Quality Assurance Assistant, and I look forward to more experience and growth within the hospice care community.
I have been a Hospice Educator and Hospice Advocate for 15 years. I embrace the responsibility I have explaining the value and hope in Hospice Care as well as dispelling the myths about Hospice. I consider it a blessing to be able to listen to the incredible stories and compassionately help enrich the lives of patients and families during what can be a very challenging part of their healthcare journey.

Tania “I’ve known since I was a young woman that I wanted to be a nurse. To quote Ghandi “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” I enjoy helping my patient each day and I look forward to learning from each of my patients every day.
My name is Patricia Hernandez, I am a mother of 3 married for 42 years. I have been a CHHA since 2005 and have been a CNA since 1986. I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful families over the years. I take pride in providing excellent help to my patients and their families.
Relieving discomfort for patients so they can have their remaining days at home with their loved ones rather than at the hospital environment is my goal. Making a difference in a patient's lives is what truly makes this worthwhile. I feel that addressing a patient's concerns and using active listening is important when providing quality care. These qualities are what hospice is to me and I love being a part of the Devoted Healthcare Family.
